Brian Lara Situations

Situation Name - The Ultimate Embarrasement

Difficulty Rating = 5 (ratings go from 1 easy to 6 nearly impossible)

The West Indies are 60 for 6 against Zimbabwe, this match is a semi-final match and the winner of this game will go on to play either England or West Indies in the West Indies - where the pitches will suit neither teams bowling attack.

So how did the West Indies get in this position ?

We'll the first 2 wickets were down to trying to score too quickly before the batsman had settled. Philo Wallace repeated his antics of the previous game and so did Lara to a point. But disaster, a problem with my keyboard caused a delay between me pressing the key and the batsman playing the shot. This caused the downfall of both Wallace and Hooper. Lara suprisingly was out when the fault sorted itself out when he got an inside edge to the stumps. Ambrose was out to a fantastic catch to make it 59 for 6 but the fault had gone completley.

Just Adams is left out of the recoginised batsman with David Williams (the wicket keeper) at the crease. This situation is difficult. I would also point out that there does seem to be a lot humidity in the air causing a lot of swing - so be very careful against the swing bowlers especially against the Guy Whittall bowling due to the high humidity, oh and good look - you'll need it.
